As some of you know, most of our Cosmic Team is located in Florida. The devastation from Hurricane Ian has been heartbreaking. We wanted to take the time to thank those who have checked on our team during Hurricane Ian, and all who have supported us though every festival season. Without you, keeping our small festival alive wouldn't be possible. Especially during difficult times like these.
Thankfully everybody on our team is safe and doing well!
All of us at Cosmic Film Festival work multiple jobs (some of which include being filmmakers too!), but this festival is something we do out of a passion for supporting filmmakers and sharing indie talent with the world. We do it out of a love for film and those who are apart of it!

Our goal at Cosmic Film Festival is to bring filmmakers together. While we have mostly come out of Hurricane Ian unscathed, there are so many Florida filmmakers, actors, and crew who have not. If you get an opportunity to support or hire our locals in the Florida film industry, please consider doing so! Many people in the industry will be affected for months to come. Also consider donating to organizations such as the American Red Cross which provide widespread help to all Floridians in need.
Once again, we thank you for your support! We are looking forward to getting back to work on Cosmic Film Festival.
